یا کسی مکاں کی منڈیر پر دِلِ گمشدہ! کبھی مِل ذرا

Lost heart! Sometimes found on a heap of dry dust

Or a lost heart on the temple of a house! meet sometime

جہاں لوگ ہوں، اُسے چھوڑ کر کسی راہ پر، کسی موڑ پر

دِلِ گمشدہ! کبھی مِل ذرامجھے وقت دے، مری بات سُن

Where there are people, leaving it on a path, at a turn

Lost heart! Ever meet please give me time, listen to dead talk

مری حالتوں کو تو دیکھ لےمجھے اپنا حال بتا کبھی

کبھی پاس آ  کبھی مِل سہیمرا حال پوچھ! بتا مجھے 

Look at the dead states and tell me about your condition

مرے کس گناہ کی سزا ہے یہتُو جنون ساز بھی خود بنا

مری وجہِ عشق یقیں ترامِلا یار بھی تو، ترے سبب

وہ گیا تو ، تُو بھی چلا گیادِلِ گمشدہ؟ یہ وفا ہے کیا

اِسے کِس ادا میں لکھوں بتااِسے قسمتوں کا ثمر لکھوں
